Good, but Air Bubbles
Review star icon Review star icon Review star icon Review star icon Review star icon Aug 8, 2016
I've used this tape for years for book repairs, and affixing labels to books or shelves. The tape works well as a substitute label protector if you need to affix as well as protect a label. It is thick, but nicely flexible, and quite durable. It also sticks well, but can be removed from certain surfaces without leaving impossible-to-clean adhesive behind. I believe every roll I've used has had air bubbles within the roll. Once you unroll the tape and use it, the previous air bubbles don't cause problems; however, the outline of the previous bubbles can sometimes still be seen (though not always, and they can't be seen easily). If you need your tape to be absolutely aesthetically pristine, this might not be the tape for you. I've purchased other tape that didn't have the same problem with air bubbles, but they weren't acid free. Being acid free is much more important in the long run!
