- How to Determine Your Cover Size:
1. Measure the width of your book's front cover
2. Measure the width of the back cover (should be the same as front cover)
3. Measure the width of the spine
4. Add these three widths together to get the total cover width you'll need - Example:
If your book's front cover is 8 in. high and 5 in. wide and the spine is 1 in. wide, then: 5 in. (front cover) + 5 in. (back cover) + 1 in. (spine) = 11 in. total width - Ordering Tips:
For Rolls, order a roll with a width equal to or larger than 11 inch
For Sheets, order a sheet with dimensions equal to or larger than 11 inch wide and 8 inch high

Terrible Paperback Covers
Apr 10, 2026We decide to try these covers after our preferred brand was no longer available, and we really regret our purchase. These covers are difficult to work with, do not adhere well to the book cover, and produce a large amount of air bubbles that make the books look less appealing to our patrons, which is the opposite point of covering the books in the first place. I will NEVER by these covers again and I hope no one else makes the mistake of purchasing them either.

Makes covering paperbacks quick and easy!
Sep 12, 2024I love the rolls. One misconception I saw in an earlier review is that with this thicker film, you do not fold this over the edges of the book covers. You simply cut it flush with the edge of the book. This makes it so much quicker than using thinner plastic film. It is also very durable. My only complaint is that some rolls have had the printed backing facing inward on the roll, which makes measuring and cutting more difficult as it rolls inward as you are trying to measure.

Do not buy the rolls!
Jan 3, 2024I don't understand! These are unusable! They have the spine going the wrong way! I don't understand. Books are not this small. What is the point of this product? I am so mad! If they are going to be 10 inches, that should be measured the same way the already cut ones are or make it clear that they are not! Unless your books are 4 inches wide, do not buy this product!

To calculate the size of roll that you need: add up the width of your books' front cover + the width of your books' back cover + the width of your books' spine. You will need to order a Reddi-Cover Roll with a width greater than or equal to the total width of the surface to be covered. May 21, 2021I am torn - these reddi-covers are almost too sticky. The batch before was not sticking enough. It is hard to get rid of bubbles with these new covers. If the adhesive was not quite so sticky, these would be perfect.

Apr 14, 2021I ordered this product from another vendor for several years. When they quit carrying it, I found it here and was thrilled. Now I know why the other vendor quit carrying it - it stinks now. Won't stick to the covers AT ALL. We knew we had a problem when we would wrap around the book cover to the inside cover and had to use tape it make it stay. Then we found that the Reddi-covers pulled away from the covers, and we had to go back and tape the top and bottom edges of over 70 books we had covered. I thought I would save money for the library, but ended up spending more than I should have in materials and time.
