A Nightmare!
Dec 11, 2022I am not sure if quality has declined over time or not, but these were not as previous reviewers suggested. I purchased these to make a large genre labeling project easier. However, the protectors will not stay adhered to most books. This has been particularly frustrating since it was a large project, and I have had to start taping over the labels and/or replacing labels that have been partially or fully peeled off. This means I have incurred the additional cost of labels, tape, and the labor it costs to fix this problem! AVOID.

Owner Response: We are sorry you were not satified with our Label-Lock Individual Label Protectors. We have not changed the material this product is made from for many years. Sometimes during the manufacturing of the laminate material, there can be sections of the master roll in which the adhesive is not as thick as per our specifications (Very rare but it does happen). We cannot detect this during our slitting and die cutting process when we are boxing this product so these label protectors with less adhesive can elude our quality control processes and be sold mistakenly. As stated before this is very rare but unfortunetly can happen. Please call our customer care number at 800-548-7204 and we would be happy to replace all of the protectors which were defective and we are very sorry for all of the problems they have caused you.
Excellent label protectors
Oct 21, 2019I have been using these label protectors for 25 years. They are packaged nicely and easy to use. They are very durable and adhere well to any surface. The matte finish enables call numbers on spine labels to be read much more easily than with a glossy label. These are well worth the price.
