8 years, still look good
Oct 21, 2019I placed them on my books 8 years ago to protect the barcodes and spine labels on our library books. They're durable, and their adhesive is very strong. I do have to be very diligent about looking for curling corners on the label protectors. If a child picks at the stickers, if the book is mishandled, or if the corner of the label protector is placed directly in a spine/cover crease, the corners will curl up. A temporary solution is to cut off the ruined corner, which may be vulnerable to future curling. The other option is to rip off the entire label and protector, and replace it with a new one. The label protectors have a very stubborn adhesive, so you will have to be careful to completely cover the old adhesive area with the new label protector.

Unsatisfied with Bar Code Label Protectors-

they buckle on the covers and turn on the edges. I would not buy this again.
