We just added these acrylic bins to help solve issues of slipping and sliding we've had with Vox books. They sort of "fan out" when shelved traditionally. These bins make it so much easier to keep them secure on the shelf. I was able to fit the collection of Vox books we have now in one bin, and used the second as a solution for our IR book kits. The bags we have them in are nice and sturdy (better than the clear plastic bags), but they have closed loops, so we couldn't install a bar for hanging, and it wasn't looking easy to retrofit some kind of pegboard. In terms of stability, I was concerned at first that the bins wouldn't stay in place, or that a kid could grab it and knock the whole thing off. As I was placing these on the shelf, I notcied that the rubberized feet do a good job of keeping the bin from sliding, and I tried pulling and pushing it with some force even before I added books in. One thing I did notice was that the feet need to be fully on the shelf. We actually had to swap out shelves in the unit where we placed them so the feet could sit fully on. The back lip on the shelves of that unit were causing the just smallest bit on the front feet to sit slightly over the edge. This little bit did make a difference and I was able to more easily move or slide the bin when it was like this. Once we swapped for some shelves that didn't have that back lip, I was able to position the feet *just so* and the bins are stable. The bins being a little finnicky like this is what made me knock off a star. Otherwise, so far it's proving to be a fairly affordable way for our library to finally integrate face out style shelving while not having to completely replace our existing shelves. I'm excited to see how they hold up in the long term!

I've been looking for a way to display my graphic novels so students (grades 5-8) can flip through them more easily. They are my most circulated and most browsed area, so keeping them on a shelf, in order, in static fashion was a barrier to true access and preventing maximum checkout. Maaybrowz bins help to keep them neat, organized, still mostly in order, but more easily browsed and circulated. They are incredibly sturdy and stick to the shelf.

When I switched to these bins, one of my students walked by and said, "It looks like a new library!" The bins look great and are easy for students to use. I put most of my nonfiction in the bins and the kids are easily finding books they want. Students aren't terribly careful about putting them back in the right place, but that isn't new and they'll get better as we learn to use the new bins. The ridges on the bottom of the bins help keep books upright and looking neat. The bins are very sturdy, too. Happy I purchased these!

We love these new bins for our picture books! I wish they held more though. When we consolidated the shelves and converted them to bins we had to come up with what to do with what wouldn't fit in the bins. That's the only downside...that you have to raise the shelves so high to have room to peruse the bins and lose upper shelf space. But they're sturdy and beautiful.

This was exactly what I needed, but it was confusing because some of the pictures made it appear to be a bin with sides. It's more of a one-piece U-shaped kind of bin. But it is very sturdy and the ridges in the bottom are excellent to keep books from sliding from front to back or from side to side. It transformed our picture book shelves and circulation has increased because of it! I just ordered more!

These bins are a wonderful addition to our children's collection. They allow the children to flip through the collection. We have seen a spike in circulation since we began using these.
