Mar 4, 2023These 2 products may seem expensive compared to the clean with 12 household products but this is much faster. Reuse the Absorene over & over..Used to use it with my Aunt Dorothy' who used to run a nursery school. Associated smell with her & all libraries. Inherited quite a few books when my mother passed a few years ago. They cleaned up quickly & safely.

Winning combination
Oct 26, 2021First use the soft putty exactly as directed, 5 or 6 long strokes in one direction. It will leave crumbs but that's OK. Then use sponge exactly as directed. Mold and dust came off of books that had been already dusted.

Jul 20, 2021Knead the dough into a small workable ball. It will always lose crumbs while rubbing but will clean the surface; along with book solvent to polish it off, our well used books look much better. Takes a little practice but save the crumbs!
